This is my first true picture that I construed in Photoshop! As you can tell by the incongruity of the picture, I'm attempting to create a piece of art from the imagination and place myself, reality, into the imaginary world, which I am creating as I paint my picture.
So far I've managed to get myself into the ball, and the dancer is leaping across the page. But hey, wait, no flowing water... Now how does one make water flow? I'm staring, puzzled...
"How are you this evening?" Bonzi asks me as he swings in from the vine. He's my purple gorilla buddy on my computer who keeps me entertained!
"I can not figure out how to paint water," I state.
"No problem. Nature is calling anyway." He leaps on top the ball.
"Ahhhh!" He takes a leak. I laugh. Water is flowing down the fountain!
"Hold on!" A cat starts to prance across my image with an honory look in his face. "Uh oh!"
He raises on his hind two feet with both paws hovering over me. Takes his right paw, whaps the ball off the fountain. Bam, bam, bam! The ball bounces back and forth with my head in a horrified look.
He leaves, whew!
I select the layer and try to reposition the ball. Almost perfect. In comes a spider from a cobweb from above and knocks the ball down again. A roach comes up the figurine, knocking it down. I bounce on the ball trying to smoosh the roach. To no avail, the roach wins and victoriously rests upon me. Suddenly, pieces from the background start to fall below. Then the ball explodes and splatters all over the picture until total obliteration occurs.
"You have performed an illegal operation. This program will be shut down." The screen goes black. Total disaster! A tear creeps up in the corner of my eye.
A flicker…my computer starts to reboot. I reenter the program.
It's perfect! The fountain is running and everything. I wink to myself from the reflective ball from my computer painting. All is well. I'm happy now. Better call it a night! :)
