First the scenario: My life history-if disaster builds character, I have more character then King Kong. Just when everything seems to be going great...bam! Well, in your imagination nothing goes wrong, right? Ha! Well, it just might with me. Now, onto my story...
I'm sitting at my computer, finishing my landscape freehand painting in Photoshop, as I put the final touches on the image of myself climbing up the mountain. Suddenly...the water in my picture starts running, birds fly across the canvas, the painter becomes animated. I smile with amazement at the fact that I finally created an image so life like that it actually comes to life!
I see myself begin to climb the mountain/rocklike structure. A smile becomes a full grin at the pleasure I'm achieving of truly really experiencing my own fantasy or creation I created. A world of no stress or problems. Finally! Claudine gets a vacation! :)
The boat zips by. Then, suddenly, I stop climbing. Oh no! My arms are starting to shake from fatigue as I begin to look down below. Unable to hold on anymore, I plummet to the waters below. Ahhh!!!!!! Splash!
The painter hits his head, shakes it and responds, "Oh no! Not again!"
[Could this represent the fact that my ideas (mountains) were loftier again then my ability at the time causing me to plummet? (Should have listened to my Design teacher! LOL! &Too stubborn I guess.) ]
I look up. I'm lying on the floor in my room unable to move due to my excruciating pain! I scream to my roommate to call the ambulance ASAP!
Well, eventually I manage to get to the emergency room. I discover that I fractured my ribs, one of which punctured my left lung (again?), broke my left arm and shoulder (thankfully my right arm was salvaged...:)), damaged my left leg, and had numerous bumps and bruises. The doctor comes in, looking rather startled and amazed as he read the chart.
"So tell me again how this actually happened," he asked?
"Well...actually, I'm not really sure. I just know I got really involved in my computer picture. Somehow I accidentally fell off the mountain that I was climbing in the picture...but it was only my imagination I thought."
He gave me a strange look.
I laughed to myself, lightly, as sharp pains ensued from my rib cage. I guess I'm the only person in this world that could have something like this actually happen to them. Or is this a dream just gone astray?
Laughed again, lightly of course, realized again that real life is really just a dream or a test as you may. Nothing truly matters in the big picture of things. Just start climbing from the bottom again I guess. Got to have fun! Life is too dam short. Maybe I need to start lifting weights next time before I climb the mountain, right? Nah! I've got a better idea! Paint a better picture with bigger arms lol. Yeah, me the genius. :-)
I refocus my eyes. Opps! The tutorial to the Gorilla Data Base system comes up. Mr. Bill Good Marketing is on the screen, "...and this is really important to remember as a Computer Operator. Blah, blah, blah..."
Better push the back button to repeat the tutorial and stop daydreaming. I might really get into trouble!
Meaning=back to work!
