his poor motherless daughter during the Renaissance era. Fearing her loneliness, he married a grand lady with two daughters of her own. Unfortunately, as soon as the stepmother entered her new home, the inherent hateful jealousy of the spectacular artistic talent that her new stepdaughter possessed over her own two daughters, lead her to deprive this child of all artistic endeavors. She did this by giving the poor child all the laborious housework to do and disallowing any creative engagement. Meanwhile, her own two daughters were given the pleasure of attaining the best instruction and schooling available to fulfill their talents.

The only pleasure this child had was when she had the opportunity to spend her evenings sitting in the chimney corner, engaging in her drawing pleasure and painting with the leftover supplies she could scrounge out of the trash cans. She was called "Cinderella" mockingly due to her wearied look.

It was by chance that the well recognized Michelangelo, the Italian painter, sculptor, and architect, was going to be in town at the local Gallery looking for an apprentice. Being one of the greatest living artists of the time after the Sistine Chapel was unveiled, this was a huge event to attend for all aspiring artists. Distraught over the aspect of missing this opportunity of a lifetime, she burst in tears!

A voice asked, "Why are you crying my dear?" To her amazement, it was her fairy Godmother! When she let her know that it was her dream to become a painter, yet she didn't have the supplies, an outfit, nor the transportation to attend the local Gallery to paint for the great Michelangelo, the fairy godmother responded, "Don't fret my dear! Run into the garden quickly to get a pumpkin."

Puzzled, she followed instructions. Suddenly the pumpkin turned into a coach. "Now get a mousetrap!" That turned into a horse. "Now get the rat in the trap by the door." That became a coachman. "Last but not least, get three roaches from the corner." Those became a box filled with the best paints, brushes, and a custom sized pallet fitted precisely for her petite little hands. Finally she waved the magic wand, and Cinderella was all dressed for the Gallery!

"Hurry or you will be late!" The fairy godmother said. "Be back before 8 PM or else everything will vanish."

Off she went. She painted the best painting of her life! Michelangelo was impressed endlessly and in love with the beautiful and glowingly charming Cinderella.

8 PM came before she knew it. She ran out so hastingly, she left her customized pallet behind. Michangelo picked it up, discovered a street address and proceeded to seek her out the next morning.

Luckily, Cinderella had petite hands that only fit this pallet since she was so tiny. As much as her larger sisters tried to fit the pallet, they lowered their heads in sorrow. He finally slipped it onto Cinderella's hand. Not being able to bear parting from his first true love, he sweeped her off her feet and carried her away. They were married later that day.

So the poor little cinder-maid married Michelangelo, became a famous artist and painter, and they lived happily ever after! Thats karma for you, what goes around comes around.
